A new chapter in the company’s history is being written: Christ (Leather Fashion since 1954) is changing to Werner Christ (since 1954). The company is positioning itself in the globalised world with this new name and yet still remaining true to its roots by creating a monument to the founder of the company Werner Christ.
With the third generation joining the management, Werner Christ (since 1954) is breaking new ground. A young Marketing Department is responsible for conveying the new image and sees the digital realignment of the company as central to the brand relaunch.
A new design team will be creating fashion for an expanded target group that is looking for lambskin products from sustainable and fair production. This will see fashion for people who know exactly what they want and are longing for a high-quality everyday look – for those who have an urban way of life and really appreciate quality and to compensate for their fast and dynamic daily routine aspire to a lifestyle of enjoyment and comfort.
The company’s realignment is also reflected in its new logo, which simply and neatly brings into focus the name of the founder and thus his values. The logo features the well-known year of the foundation, thereby underlining the heritage and the specialisation which are so important for the success of the company.
In spite of these fundamental changes, the cornerstones of zeitgeist and craftmanship remain and, along with the know-how in sustainability and with customer centricity, will continue to be the mainstay of the company’s activities.
In addition to the fashion line of business, the company also has a range of lifestyle products, including riding articles, home-and-living products and exquisite lambskin items for babies and pets. These two branches will be merged in the near future and managed as one unit.
